Prin \u00eenc\u0103lzirea acestui amestec de fructoz\u0103 \u015fi molecule absorbante de lumin\u0103, oamenii de \u015ftiin\u0163\u0103 au reu\u015fit s\u0103 creeze un plastic solid pe care l-au expus, apoi, la razele ultraviolet (UV), la o lungime de und\u0103 de 350 de nanometri, care se reg\u0103se\u015fte \u015fi \u00een intervalul de lungimi de und\u0103 pe care le emite Soarele.<\/p>\n<p>Odat\u0103 expus la lumin\u0103, \u00eentr-o perioad\u0103 de timp de aproximativ trei ore, noul plastic a \u00eenceput s\u0103 se degradeze.
